The Gesture of Life is my first large-scale textile artwork, created from a moment of inspiration during a hike in the Italian Alps. The idea of the toothbrush suddenly appeared, and I knew the gesture deserved a canvas of its own - and a big one.

Inspired by Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam, the work turns an everyday ritual into something worth noticing. Not because brushing your teeth is extraordinary, but because caring for yourself is.

With its bold colours, tactile textile surface and generous sparkle, The Gesture of Life is made to bring energy, personality and life into a room. It is a statement piece that invites a second look and, very likely, a conversation.
